Successful completion of all stage three modules of the BSc(Hons)Diagnostic Radiography will normally be required.

Aims of Module
The aim of this module is to provide the student with the ability to analyse and evaluate drivers for advancement of radiographic practice.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Critically analyse and evaluate current and emerging issues advancing radiographic practice.

Critically analyse and evaluate the impact of professional and healthcare policy on the role of the radiographer.

Discuss the ethical, legal and professional implications of role development and continuous professional development.

Indicative Module Content
The dynamic nature of radiography and continual modernisation of the profession will be reflected in the content of this module.
| The team delivering the module will consider on an annual basis pertinent topics to include in the module. Guidance on such topics will be sought from research, professional and healthcare policy, journals, national reports,professional publications and national forums.
