Successful completion of all stage two modules of the BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography will normally be required.

Aims of Module

The aim of this module is to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of interventional radiology.

Learning Outcomes for Module

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

1. Discuss interventional imaging examinations and techniques use in radiology.
2. Analyse the benefits, limitations and clinical applications of interventional radiology.
3. Discuss the radiographic appearances of a range of interventional imaging procedures.
