Aims of Module
To enable the student to develop knowledge and understanding of a range of radiographic pathologies.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Describe pathologies of the appendicular and axial skeleton.
2 Describe pathologies of the chest and abdomen.
3 Explain variant radiographic appearance of pathologies of the appendicular and axial skeleton, chest and abdomen.

Indicative Module Content
Basic principles of epidemiology; aetiology, incidence and prevalence; pathological processes; mechanisms of disease; introduction to conventional imaging; relevant pathologies of the axial and appendicular skeleton, chest and abdomen; variant radiographic appearances.

Module Delivery
Blended delivery comprising on campus and online learning and engagement. This will include Workshops, Tutorials, Keynote Lectures, Digital Learning Resources.
