2 | Describe the structure and function of the different cells and tissues of the human body. |
3 | Identify and describe the structure of the major systems of the body. |
4 | Explain the functions of the major systems. |
5 | Relate the structure to the functions of the major systems. |
Indicative Module Content |
---|
Introduction to anatomical terminology. The structure and function of the different cells, tissues, organs and systems. The systems to be included: musculo-skeletal, central and peripheral nervous systems, cardiovascular, respiratory, and other systems: digestive, genitourinary endocrine and lymphatic systems. Relevance of anatomy and physiology to occupational therapy practice. |
