Aims of Module
To provide an awareness of a range of appropriate methods of evaluation and analysis. To select, use and develop evaluative analytical and interpretative methods appropriate to the process and outcomes of your own research project.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Demonstrate a critical awareness of useful evaluative and analytical concepts and models.

Appraise own and other research projects in terms of methodologies and analytical approach.

Use appropriate evaluative tools to inform and structure your own research.

Develop a transfer document (MPhil/PhD) or a final submission for MPhil.

Issues and considerations in the process of evaluation, analysis and interpretation of research outcomes.
| Assessing research quality, research standing and context. Analysis of completed formal research (subject specific). Using analytical tooks to make sense of data.
