| On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |

| Indicative Module Content |

| The content of the work placement will vary. However, each student will draw up an agreed learning contract with the host organisation and devise a programme which will enable the learning outcomes specified to be achieved. |

| Delivery is by means of on-the-job training. In addition, students may be required to attend specific staff development workshops as designated by the host organisation. |

| Description: | The Component is assessed by means of staff appraisal by the company following the approved University assessment scheme for this element. It consists of each student providing a portfolio of evidence which will contain a learning contract, documentation for the periodic reviews, a detailed log book and further evidence deemed appropriate by the student to demonstrate that the teaching outcomes set have been achieved. | ||||
