| On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
| 1 | Understand, write and talk about basic academic texts. |
| 2 | Produce a written assignment in English, applying basic academic conventions of style, grammar, presentation and referencing. |
| 3 | Develop and deliver an oral presentation in English. |
| 4 | Comprehend and extract meaning from spoken and written English, particularly academic texts. |
