| To apply knowledge gained throughout the course to methodically solve a real world problem, by systematically carrying out requirement analysis, justifying through literature review and adhering to an appropriate research methodology, in order to develop and evaluate a project solution which satisfies established standards. | |||

| On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
| 1 | Justify a valid and challenging research question through the creation of a comprehensive literature review. |
| 2 | Execute a requirements analysis, by using appropriate requirements gathering methods, to clearly articulate the objectives of the project. |
| 3 | Devise a feasible project plan, attend scheduled meetings with Client/Supervisor and successfully manage the project to completion. |
| 4 | Execute suitable technologies and appropriate analysis, design, implementation, testing and other relevant techniques to develop an appropriate project solution/artefact. |
| 5 | Justify the project in the form of a professionally documented report including legal, social, ethical and professional issues relevant to the project, and completing a Viva Voce demonstration. |
