Aims of Module
To enable students to participate in study abroad opportunities with selected partners of the School of Computing, allowing them to gain the cultural, interpersonal, educational and social benefit of study abroad in an international environment.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Critique use of computing related competencies from the course during their study abroad period.
2 Illustrate computing related competences developed while studying at partner institution.
3 Operate in an efficient and professional manner while studying as a student at a partner institution.
4 Examine skills, knowledge, and experience gained from studying abroad in the context of future study, employability, and future career choices.

Indicative Module Content
Students will be expected to attend lectures and attempt assessments in the subjects declared in the learning agreement drawn in the relevant subject area.

Description: At the end of the study abroad module the student would be required to create a portfolio of evidence, which will include a report of their experience and transcript for their study abroad at the host institution. This portfolio will detail the competencies they have developed and will be used to evidence the learning objectives of the module.

The calculation of the overall grade for this module is based on 100% weighting of a single coursework. An overall minimum grade D is required to pass the module.
