Aims of Module | |||
---|---|---|---|
To enable students to participate in study abroad opportunities with selected partners of the School of Computing Science and Digital Media, allowing them to gain the cultural, interpersonal, educational and social benefit of study abroad in an international environment. |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Demonstrate an understanding and competence of a pre-approved subject taught in a partner institution |
2 | Demonstrate the ability to study within an international context. |
3 | Demonstrate appropriate academic, technical and soft skills developed throughout the study abroad period in a suitable cultural context. |
4 | Apply the theories, models, concepts and principles acquired in the course to their study abroad period |

Description: | At the end of the study abroad module the student would be required to create a portfolio of evidence, which will include a report of their experience and transcript for their study abroad at the host institution. This portfolio will detail the knowledge and skills they have learned and will be used to evidence the learning objectives of the MSci Study Abroad module. |
