On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |

2 | Apply the theories, models, concepts and principles acquired in the course programme to the workplace. |

Indicative Module Content |
---|
The content of the work placement will vary. However, each student will draw up an agreed learning contract with the host organisation and devise a programme which will enable the learning outcomes specified to be achieved. |
Module Delivery |

Supervised placement within a company by means of on-the-job training. In addition, students may be required to attend specific staff development workshops as designated by the host organisation. |

Description: | The component is assessed by means of staff appraisal by the company and consists of each student providing a portfolio of evidence which will contain a learning contract, documentation for the periodic reviews and further evidence deemed appropriate by the student to demonstrate that the teaching outcomes set have been achieved. |
