Aims of Module
This module will enable students to develop a critical understanding of how ethical considerations are integrated into business, leadership and organisational strategies.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Critically evaluate the need for ethical leadership in global organisations and the challenges faced.
2 Argue how authentic personal ethics is a strong leadership trait that inspires, motivates and builds employee engagement.
3 Appraise ethics and ethical behaviour in a range of international organisations.

Indicative Module Content
The module begins with an analysis of ethical behaviour in defined global organisations, both at management and employee levels. It then leads students to the development of strategic plans that integrate ethical considerations in an organisation active in international transactions. Further, the impact of ethical challenges on company brand is discussed and finally, the module concludes with a discussion on examining the possible risks in poor ethical behaviours.

Module Delivery
The module will be taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials and student-led activities, including a variety of case studies.
