Aims of Module
This 'Future Fit' module represents career / portfolio development activities.It provides students the opportunity to contextualise learning and reflect on different specialisms within the course highlighting the benefits of the interdisciplinary curriculum. This module is focused on presenting the professional portfolio the student has built over the course of their learning and use it as a basis for employment conversations.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Develop a professional curriculum vitae that cogently describes their learnings, experiences, and focus for the future.
2 Present their portfolio and demonstrate the ability to explain their learning and portfolio in a professional context.
3 Confidently discuss employment possibilities with recruiters.
4 Calmly answer questions in an interview setting.

Indicative Module Content
Topics covered include, but are not limited to, the following: Skills Review; Resume Building; Portfolio Development; Professional Writing; Presentation Skills; Public Speaking; Interview Skills; Business Correspondence; Personal Reflection. The module engages students with UNESCO's Education for Sustainable Development Normative, Strategic, and Collaborative competencies in terms of understanding the values they look to take into the workplace, respecting the needs of others with whom they will interact, and using those to develop and implement innovative actions that can improve sustainability.

The module is delivered via lectures, online exercises, workshops, industry speakers, case studies, and lab tutorials.
