Aims of Module | |||

The aim of this module is to provide students with an opportunity to design, plan and deliver a live event within a hospitality context as part of a team. |
Learning Outcomes for Module | |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Demonstrate appropriate event management skills via the planning, development and delivery of a hospitality event. |
2 | Appraise team abilities, skills and strengths and allocate roles and duties accordingly to establish a cohesive team structure. |
3 | Demonstrate a capacity to review and reflect upon personal performance and service delivery. |

The module will draw heavily upon supervised project planning workshops. students will be introduced to the key management areas via lectures which will then be followed by workshop sessions and team working meetings. |
