Aims of Module | |||

To develop entrepreneurial skills and business knowledge in aspiring tourism entrepreneurs through the exploration of cultural issues, and application of frameworks, and tools to support the development of a new venture. To evidence the feasibility, viability, desirability, and adaptability of an idea through the practical application of entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to ensure sustainable business growth. |

Overview of entrepreneurship, exploring the entrepreneurial mindset, defining value proposition, producing a business model, setting a business mission and values, planning a marketing campaign, producing marketing materials, managing business finance, protecting intellectual property, working with suppliers, designing experiences, customer service, designing for cultural differences, considering ethical issues, sustainability in business, running an online business, legal responsibilities, making sales and leading as an entrepreneur. |
