Aims of Module
To promote and demonstrate knowledge, competency and skills in managing, leading and directing project teams and stakeholders. This module covers most of the Project Management Body of Knowledge required for APM and PMI certification.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Synthesise essential knowledge, skills and competency in project management to the required professional standard of project management practice.
2 Discuss and apply project management knowledge within the requirements of the project management profession.
3 Integrate knowledge of Project Management Standards such as APM, PMI and ISO.

Indicative Module Content
This module will cover key sections of the APM and/or PMI Project Management Bodies of Knowledge. Project Lifecycle phases, Project Management processes including tools and techniques will be covered. In addition, there shall be an integration of knowledge of Project Management Standards (ISO21500).

Module Delivery
The module is delivered in Taught Mode by lectures, tutorials, interactive group work, presentations and directed self-study. The module is delivered in Distance Learning Mode by self directed web-based learning resources, on-line tutor support.
