Aims of Module
The aim of this module to give students an opportunity to demonstrate their complete understanding of the practical aspects of event management via the planning, delivery and evaluation of a live charitable event.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
||Demonstrate an ability to critically evaluate the feasibility of event concepts and develop comprehensive proposals from such processes.|
||Demonstrate a critical understanding of appropriate professional practices and actions via the production and management of a live event.|
||Demonstrate an ability to critically reflect upon their own professional practice and that of others in a live project setting.|

Mode of Delivery
This module is primarily student led, with students receiving supervision from both an academic mentor and an industry-based specialist.

Portfolio. Students will undertake 4 pieces of work: a proposal, delivery of a live event, production of a handover document and an individual reflective piece. The final grade will be allocated using an aggregated marking scheme.
