Indicative Module Content Distribution supply chain including delivery schedules, forecasting, range planning, merchandise planning, branch planning, Retail analysis, key performance indicators, product profiles, distribution profiles, continuity and seasonal merchandise, range building, design elements and process, garment technology, role of the fashion buyer, sourcing, fashion merchandising, fashion marketing, fashion retailer trends Indicative Student Workload
| Mode of Delivery Key concepts are introduced and illustrated through lectures and directed reading. The understanding of students is tested and further enhanced through tutorials and student centred learning. Practicals allow the student to build up relevant conceptual skills Assessment Plan
There will be ONE coursework assessment that will encompass all objectives. The student will assume the role of buyer reporting to the merchandise director. They will plan, develop and evaluate a seasonal range of fashion goods for a selected retailer. Indicative Bibliography
