Aims of Module
Apply knowledge of financial planning solutions to meet the needs of different client objectives.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Understand the responsibilities to and relationship with a client.
2 Evaluate a client's financial status and objectives.
3 Apply knowledge of risk to develop a client risk profile.
4 Appraise and assess options relevant to a given scenario and propose an appropriate financial plan.
5 Apply a review process to a financial plan.

Indicative Module Content
Client relationship management; risk assessment; financial products; formulation of plan; documenting plan; review of financial plan.

Module Delivery
The module is delivered in Blended Learning mode using structured online learning materials/activities and directed study, facilitated by regular online tutor support. Workplace Mentor support and work-based learning activities will allow students to contextualise this learning to their own workplace. Face-to-face engagement occurs through annual induction sessions, employer work-site visits, and modular on-campus workshops.
