On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Critically discuss the regulatory framework for financial reporting and the requirements of specific accounting standards incorporating sustainability and ethical considerations. |
2 | Undertake detailed computational calculations to demonstrate understanding and knowledge of relevant accounting standards. |
3 | Apply the recognition, measurement and disclosure requirements of international accounting standards in the preparation of financial statements. |
4 | Evaluate the financial impact of accounting transactions on specific elements of financial statements. |
