| Indicative Module Content |

| This module will provide students with an overview of project management and its key principles and practices; the project life cycle and its underpinning role in structuring and managing projects; the process of project concept and definition; the organisational aspects of project management, including project teams and leadership; managing the key variables of project management, identification and analysis of risks and stakeholders; project schedule; change control mechanism; effective handover and closeout of projects and lessons learned; an introduction to the principles of agile and sustainable project management. |

| The module is delivered in Blended Learning mode using structured online learning materials/activities and directed study, facilitated by regular online tutor support. Workplace Mentor support and work-based learning activities will allow students to contextualise this learning to their own workplace. Face-to-face engagement occurs through annual induction sessions, employer work-site visits, and modular on-campus workshops. |
