Refer to Definitive Course Document.

Aims of Module

To provide students with the ability to explain the biological processes and concepts involved during the development of multicellular organisms.

Learning Outcomes for Module

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

1. Describe the processes associated with animal reproduction.
2. Discuss early and post-embryonic developmental processes.
3. Explain the cellular and molecular basis of morphogenesis and differentiation.
4. Describe the experimental techniques used in the study of development biology.
