Aims of Module
To provide the student with an awareness of laboratory safety and the ability to apply science and management techniques to the planning and implementation of group project work.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Indicative Module Content
Background to Microsoft Project planning software. Preparation of Pert and Gantt charts and scheduling program. Group organisation, leadership skills, delegation, group dynamics. Management team structure, procedures and record keeping. Laboratory work involving the acquisition of subject specific science skills.
