Aims of Module | |||

Indicative Module Content |

The module is delivered by a partner institution. Module contents will be agreed with the host partner institution. In addition to studying architecture, students will develop linguistic skills through undertaking their studies in the selected foreign language as applicable. |

Explanatory Text | |
The module is assessed by the host institution. This will vary according to the institution. Students should seek the guidance of the Course Leader (or equivalent) at the host institution to identify assessment instruments. Host institutions will provide transcripts for the relevant number of modules undertaken during the study abroad period. Students will be expected to pass the module at the level specified at the host institution. Any grade or mark at the host institution at pass level or above will be recorded as 'P' (Pass). Any grade or mark at the host institution at less than pass level will be recorded as 'U' (Unsuccessful). Actual grades or marks and the relevant ECTS or local credits will be provided to the student via a transcript by the host institution. | |

ADDITIONAL NOTES |

The student will be offered a menu of lectures, seminars and studio projects and will be advised by staff at RGU and the host institution regarding a suitable course of study in accordance with their ability and experience. At least 50% of the curriculum should be dedicated to Architecture design studio. The European Credit Transfer Scheme (ECTS) or equivalent for Overseas institutions, which includes a learning agreement describing the programme of study abroad, and approved by both the home and host institution, will facilitate full academic recognition. Students will be able to undertake a European or Overseas exchange programme only at stage 5. |
