On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Develop a self initiated and directed design project(s) proposal within an appropriate contextual framework. |
2 | Apply a personal conceptual, critical and analytical framework to self directed design project. |
3 | Select and apply appropriate practical studio and workshop methods to self directed study at a level approaching professional Three Dimensional Design practice. |
4 | Apply appropriate research and design methodologies and technologies to self - directed design project(s)at a level approaching professional Three Dimensional Design practice. |
5 | Manage a programme of self directed study, project scheduling and project management at a level approaching professional practice. |
Indicative Module Content |
---|
The module requires each student to carry out a personal self managed programme of design work. The student is expected to evidence their resolved design solutions through the production of a range of work which demonstrates the application of design methodologies, studio practice, processes and technologies appropriate to their defined specialist pathway and project, addressing the issues identified in the project proposal at a level approaching professional practice. |
