Aims of Module
The aim of this Module is to provide the student with the knowledge and understanding of successfully working in a freelance capacity within the Creative Industries. To introduce students to the roles, skills and discipline associated with creative collaboration on a project.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Identify projects with collaborative potential.
2 Negotiate roles, responsibilities, timescales and mutually agreed outcomes with others.
3 Provide practical evidence of collaboration.
4 Critically evaluate collaborative activity

Indicative Module Content
This module is designed to introduce the student to the roles, skills and discipline associated with creative collaboration on a group project. Identify a project suitable for collaboration and present evidence of the practical activities involved in developing and undertaking the project in a production diary. Critically evaluate the collaborative activity in a reflective account using an appropriate presentation format. This module will provide evidence of Identification of projects with collaborative potential, negotiated roles, responsibilities, timescales and outcomes, provide practical evidence of collaboration through evaluation and analysis.

Module Delivery
This module will be delivered in the format of workshops, tutor led contextualization through formal presentation, and seminar group discussion. One to one meetings with the tutor will confirm the suitability of each student’s proposal and approve a schedule for completion.
