Aims of Module
The aim of this Module is to provide the student with: the opportunity to develop autonomy and self-direction whilst undertaking professional set projects. They will gain experience of the whole creative process, including concept planning, solution development and production. Working to a set client brief and deadlines.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Demonstrate an advanced understanding of contemporary professional practice by engaging with professionally set projects.
2 Demonstrate a high level of independent creative thinking; idea generation and problem solving to meet defined set projects.
3 Meet set deadlines.
4 Critically reflect upon the creative process and outcome.

Indicative Module Content
This module has been designed to equip the student with knowledge and skills necessary to work on industry projects set by clients, associations and agencies in the professional industry. The student will provide research planning and provide creative solutions to set projects informed by personal objectives via supported structured teaching. The module will be delivered through workshops and individual tutorial sessions. The student will present work in compliance with a set project and to specific deadlines.

Module Delivery
Workshops will cover: working to a client brief/project, researching and formulating a plan, developing conceptual ideas within the scope of a given set project. Tutorial sessions will focus on individual requirements where students will be encouraged to investigate their own personal objectives with advice given on direction. Peer Group critiques of work in progress and responses to each set project, peers and staff discuss creative and technical solutions to each project and evaluated outcomes. Feedback will be given at the end of each individual set project, delivered over the whole year.
