Aims of Module
To provide students with both the theoretical underpinning and the analytical skills required to effectively evaluate corporate financial management decisions.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Produce a comprehensive risk profile of a company.
2 Generate firm's weighted average cost of capital and evaluate its capital structure.
3 Evaluate the main drivers behind firm value.
4 Appraise firm's capital investment decisions.
5 Analyse the theoretical and practical aspects of firm's dividend policy.

Indicative Module Content
Firm's risk profiling; estimation of firm's weighted average cost of capital; optimal capital structure; firm value models; shareholder value analysis; firm's payout policy; capital investments; corporate restructuring; sustainable finance, sustainable growth frameworks; risk management.

Module Delivery
This module is delivered through a mix of interactive teaching sessions including lectures, tutorials, case studies and group work.
