Pastoral Support Advisor
My name is Ann Ogle and I am the Pastoral Support Advisor for the School of Nursing and Midwifery at RGU.
My responsibility is to assist you during your nursing and midwifery programme to access the appropriate support services which will help meet your personal and professional development needs right up to registration as a nurse or midwife.
As a School we understand that meeting the requirements of a nursing and midwifery programme brings with it many challenges some of which require a great deal of your attention and effort to resolve.
There are many students support services available and knowing which one to go to can be confusing especially if you are dealing with many pressures in your life. I could be your first point of contact to enable you to discuss any issues/problems you might have and help you to identify your best way forward. Discussing your situation early can hopefully identify a way of resolving the issue without it having a great impact on other areas of your life.
I am available for students to `Drop-In` to my office, or see me at an arranged time. Alternatively you could call, e-mail or text me with any issues you need to sort out.

You will find me in room H414/2 in the Faculty of Health & Social Care. My office is situated on level 4, beside the staircase. Please come in to the waiting area where I will either come and get you, or you can phone through (2684) to let me know you have arrived.
