Remote Access: MyApps
MyApps.rgu.ac.uk allows you to access applications, email, H drive and S drive from off campus. MyApps is based on Citrix technology with better stability and extended functionality. This service is available to all RGU staff and students.
To start using this service navigate to the following address and logon with your email credentials:
The first time you use this service, some configuration may be required. There is an automatic process which guides you (click install and ok as prompted). The following document shows screen shots of this process:

RGU Wireless Service
To connect to the RGU wireless network, you need to do 3 things:
1) When you first see the list of available networks, connect to RGU OPEN NETWORK.
2) Configure the correct proxy settings.
3) Open up a web browser and enter your RGU username and password when prompted to authenticate.

In the event that you have been given a new account due to a change in contract or name etc your emails will NOT be automatically transferred. Follow the below procedures to move the information to your new accounts.
In the event that you receive a new account due to a contract change, your H drive contents will be copied on creation of your new account. If you find that you are missing files, or it has not been transferred, contact the Helpdesk who will raise a call to have this done.
