Employee Performance Review
Welcome to the University employee review process, called the Employee Performance Review (EPR).
All employees who have contracts of 6 months or longer are included in the EPR process.
Part-time Temporary / Ad Hoc staff are also included, but using a shorter version of the review form. The form is accessible from the "Supplementary forms" page.
A key feature of the upgraded process is a single, common review cycle, meaning reviews and objective-setting occurs at approximately the same time each year (in the June to August period) for all employees.
The main purposes of Employee Performance Review are as follows:
- Creating the opportunity for regular, meaningful 2-way conversations with your line manager regarding performance and development needs
- To get and give feedback
- The opportunity to raise issues in an open, constructive manner
This website gives comprehensive guidance on most aspects of Employee Performance Review. If you have a particular aspect of EPR that you want to look up, you can go straight to it by selecting from the navigation bar on the left of the screen.
