This will be use to students studying Imaging Technology (HS2044) in year two. It may also be of use to third year students studying Specialist Imaging Modalities(HS3050)
The Characteristic Curve represents an imaging systems response to exposure, it is important to both film and digital imaging. The page explains the basics of understanding the Characteristic Curve - further information should be sought.
It is important for ALL radiographers to have at least a basic understanding of the Characteristic Curve.
This is a part of the Imaging Technology module (HS2044) and will include3 various aspects of information within the context of the health service. It covers aspects such as ;
