IT |

School of
Computing undergraduate students have created
a Computer Society designed to encourage students
to have fun with computer technology.
Developing their problem
solving abilities, it also enables them
to participate in programming competitions and
encourages a range of social
activities.
Supported by the Alumni Fund,
donations were able to provide two mindstorm lego
robots to the group. The society would like to
thank alumni for their kind donations and invite them to
join in the fun by providing a guest lecture to the
society.
If you are working in IT and
would like to participate please email d.c.doolan@rgu.ac.uk
or click here for
more information. |

Graduate
support initiative |
|

Last month saw the delivery of
an 'out of hours' careers service aimed at all graduates
in the North East of Scotland who are either under or
unemployed, or looking to progress their career.
Services offered to graduates were in addition to the
GradLink service accessible via the Careers
Service.
Run in partnership with the University
of Aberdeen, it proved a hit with graduates
accessing both bookable appointments and drop in
services along with job search workshops. Further
sessions are currently being planned for the New
Year.
If you are in need of careers
support please telephone 01224 262110, email careers@rgu.ac.uk
or visit their website. |
