Commercialisation, Research and European Development Office

CREDO provides bespoke innovative Business Support to the business community through accessing Robert Gordon University intellectual property resources and academic research expertise.

We are a central service hub for the management and administration of the Robert Gordon University intellectual property portfolio and research proposals starting from proposal submission to post – award management.

CREDO consists of 3 teams, Research Development, Business Development and Operations.

We provide the following services for businesses:-

• We support the development of collaborative research projects by:-

          (a)    Identifying synergies between research groups and industry
          (b)    Assisting with development of collaborative funding proposals
          (c)    Matching University expertise with company requirements   

• Assist with structured management of major projects
• Identify and protect university intellectual property
• Licence intellectual property
• Support development of spin-out and joint venture companies
• Prepare and manage contracts for the above
