The delights of studying in Turkey
Craig is currently studying for a Retail Management degree and spent time studying abroad in Istanbul. He was one of the first students to go to Istanbul on a study exchange and says,
"When I heard about the opportunity to travel and study abroad my heart skipped a beat and my brain clicked. Istanbul is an outstanding and amazing city. When I try to describe it I find myself talking for hours about my four and half months there.
However, the purpose of the trip was to study. I attended Boğaziçi University in Istanbul where I made many new friends. A great part of Erasmus is that you meet people from the country and also other exchange students from Europe and the rest of the world. So you can pick up on at least three or four new cultures along the way!
You are not alone while you are abroad as RGU continues to take care of you providing security and is always contactable for advice should you have any problems.
This experience was the best. It has been like living an entire new life in such a short time and nothing could have ever have prepared me for it. It is a great opportunity and I can't recommend it enough!"
